Born deaf, Richard has developed a unique set of skills that make him a valuable asset in the tech industry. His career at Verizon as a Switch Technician has equipped him with extensive knowledge in technical support and network management. Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, traveling between their homes in Washington State and Florida, and advocating for the deaf community.
Meet My Family
Richard’s family is the cornerstone of his life. His wife, a 46-year-old Chinese citizen with a Green Card, and their 5-year-old hearing child bring joy and balance to his world. The family splits their time between their home in Washington State during the summer and their residence in Florida for the winter. They cherish their time together, embracing both American and Chinese traditions, and creating a rich, multicultural environment for their child.
